Here is a link that has proved very useful on extending your driving distance and having more piece of mind when traveling.  I know with my 2010 F-350 6.4L CC SRW, last 5-7 gallons of fuel is a PIB and takes forever to fill.

Here in NV, and several other places in the West, it is not uncommon to drive 50-75 miles one way to get either gas or diesel fuel, so the extra 7 gallons does makes a difference.  As per the link, this Mod should work on any diesel fuel tanks, with the newer plastic tanks, on Fords, it does work.

Do not do this mod with gas tanks, due to the explosive property's of gas. Only safe for Diesel fuel tanks.
