Has anyone added  a Wilson cell phone amplifier to their vehical?

I read the installation manual and the location of the inside antenna seemed a little strage.

Later on the install manual says:  Warning: The inside antenna must
be installed with a separation of at least
eight inches from all persons and must not
be located in conjunction with any other
antenna or amplifi er.

If the inside antenna cannot be installled any farther than 12 inches from the cellular device and cannot be closer than 8 inches to a person, then you would only have 4 inches to play with. We would be using net book with this and if the range of the antenna is that weak I don't think I can use it.

I wonder if anyone in the forum has installed and used this setup and how it performed.
