hello from brownsville texas.just bought a used 2011 r-pod complete with new honda 2000i generator.only problem is it wont run the a/c.i read on here about installing the hard start capaciter to the a/c.i ordered one and should have it in a few days.i have my fingers crossed.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Very few people have stated that one Honda 2000 generator will operate their air conditioner. Most people use two paralleled together. I have one Yamaha 2400 to run my 11,000 BTU air conditioner. This was considered about the smallest single generator that would operate an air conditioner. Let us know if you get it to work with the hard start capacitor.

i foud out it will void my warranty on the a/c and also over time could be hard on the compresser.i think im gonna buy another 2000i and paralell them.
