That would be a great mod to feature. Since I have a towable, I don't have any direct experience with doing this mod. But having been around racing and having been an auto mechanic for a number of years, I can definitely understand how and why a mod like this is done.
I did have a Gulfstream Endura 6340 Super C a while back with the 8.1L / Allison combo and really wanted to do some performance mods. But I ended up selling the beast before I had a chance to.
I'll look to the ModMyRV community to offer up any of their experiences with this type of mod. Anyone out there that has done this? If you have, post here. I can do the research and put together a mod that documents what's involved and what the gains were. So let's hear about it!

would be nice to know what kind of RV you might be thinking of doing mods on but there are usually cheaper ways than Banks they ant a real premium for their products, and most but not all can be found else ware.

I have a friend who recently mod'd his V-10 and reports more power. I have a V-10 also, but that's alot of money. I would like to do it myself, but the temp is in the twentys here in VA. Is it worth it?

So I take it that you believe the mod. is worth the money? Banks told me that it usually cost about $900 to have it installed inside.

Which Banks kit did your friend do? Banks provides good quality kits but for a gasser, the power gains are small compared to the price. Diesels are where it makes sense to spend that kind of money because you can get huge power gains.
What kind of power are you looking for? Bottom end torque or top end (RPM-wise) horsepower? The two tend to be mutually exclusive. For towing, long tube headers, high-flow muffler(s), and an 87 octane towing tuner will make a big difference in the V10's low end torque.
