So we couldn't see into the deep wells of our kitchen food pantry. Always fishing around in there with a flashlight to find what we wanted. Thought of putting up a few of the stick-on push-on button area lights. But, as I was wandering through Costco the other day I ran across a set (2) of small (about 5″ tall) battery operated, motion-sensing LED pivoting lights ($19). That's a mouthful but I thought, hmmm I wonder if they might work? Mounted them today and they are just PERFECT for what we need!!
Best part is, I mounted them to the inside of the pantry door so they would shine directly into the bins. And the really cool part is, as I hoped they would, because they are motion sensing, they turn themselves on when you open the pantry door and go back off 60 seconds after you close the pantry door again. Call me a geek but that made me smile when they worked just as I hoped they would… Too much fun. ;^)
Oh and they pivot too just in case you need to point into a far back corner for some reason.
