I'm sure many of you have 12 volt DC water pumps that go on and off during water usage and they all make a racket becasue they are mounted to the wood or metal frame of your trailer.

Well here is a cheap easy fix.

Go to the 98 cents store and buy a mouse pad. Any color you like.

Find your water pump and remove the ffour screws that mount it to the floor and insert mouse pad under the pump. Then just reinstall the four screws.

Now you have a much quieter water pump.

Smile Hi, I haven't heard of the mouse pad idea before. On my trailer the water pump is connected directly to PEX so I thought about buying a silencer kit. The silencer kit only has straight fittings so I made my own kit. It would be better if I could post a few pictures, but I don't seem to be able to.
