A complete interior makeover. Everything is coming out! Right down to the walls and subfloors. What started off as a roof repair turned into a total renovation. New furniture, new floor plan, all new custom made cabinets, drop down TV's, installing bunks, new bathroom, new bedroom, installing washer/dryer combo, in motion Satellite TV, surround stereo, new floors, new wall board, new kitchen counter and sinks, new ceiling. All by April 2012. I always liked challenges. I should preface this by saying that I have a full wood shop and make custom cabinets and just recently renovated my home kitchen with all new cabinetry, counters etc. Yesterday was demolition day. It's ready for a two new sections of roof. That is the only thing I will not do myself. With a little luck and a whole lot of materials this may actually work. She wasn't very old or in bad shape but I'm never one to leave well enough alone. And the the goal is a wood cabin interior. Knotty pine will be the primary look and will be the paneling for all the walls and the primary wood for the cabinets. I recently removed and repaired the onan 5000 Emerald 2 genset, it needed a new fuel pump, fuel line, fuel filter, starter and a whole lots of cleaning and a basic tuneup. I also replaced the Atwood hot water heater, due to the prior owner not winterizing it and blowing it up! Also changed the furnace circuit board with a new dinosaur board and fixed the large, three way, two door, Norcold refrigator, had to flip it a couple of times and give the heating element a good cleaning. The Chevy 454 runs excellent and received a good tuneup, the walls are good and the chassis is solid, so I figured there was a good base for a new labor of love. I'll attach photos as the project progresses. Wish me luck!
