I lift the trailer with the axle, but I figure the U-Bolt is transferring the weight to the frame, so it is a distribution of weight. A little dangerous balancing the tip of the jack on the U-bolt, so I made a bracket that has three supports for the Axle
The center support is a little higher than the other outboard supports, so when the trailer lifts, it rocks about 1/16″ to stay stable on the other two supports
