Has anyone added a slide out to an exisiting TT? Not looking at a large slide mod, just one big enough to move a 30″x70″ 'Gaucho Sofa' outward about 24″. There is a medium sized window located above the gaucho sofa which could be relocated into the new slide and no side windows in the slide out. Trailer construction is aluminum framing/foam insulation sandwiched between Filon fiberglass and interior paneling.

Has anyone thought about doing this or did it? I have searched the web and there are companies that can do this, but I was wondering if anyon has tackled this themselves

a few years ago there was an RV show that took an older motor home and did just that very thing…It worked out pretty good for the show….I don't know how well it held up further on down the road once it had been run in an out a few times……I think there are some conversion company's that could probably do that…..
