Hello, I have been trying to connect my Direct TV and Satellite Dish, but I have some Questions. First I have investigated the back panel of my TV Console and Winegard Distribution Box. I have noticed on the Winegard box that I a have a SAT Cable feed but I don't have SAT, Whats that about. I also discovered that I have a empty port on the back of the Winegard to connect a TV which I am planning on doing. One of the other campers suggested to look in the water heater compartment area I will do so when I am home.

I do own a portable fill with water base that I used on my older Coach. I am just unsure of were I connect SAT to TV or can I just connect to the back of the Winegard bt disconnecting in from SAT port. I also am planning to by a Handheld SAT finder were can I purchase signal finder that works good. Thank You.

Also I plan on building a pull out self for one of my compartment any ideas on hoe to go abouts it?

My camper came pre wired for a roof top sat. dish…there is a label on the ceiling that tells where the other end of that sat. cable is, that you are talking about….I installed a connector on the outside of my TT for my sat. dish and ran the cable thru the cabinets and into the tv compartment.  I plug the receiver into that connection….

Camping world has the sat. finder and the meters….If you go to Lowe's and Home depot you can find some drawer slides…but if you want some big ones then look at Camping World….there are also some online stores that sell the big drawer slides….

If you can select inputs on TV, run input from receiver to any except RF in, and bypass anything in between. Changing inputs would let you have sat and other in line all the time.
