I am looking for feedback on this idea I have.

My truck camper has a lot of headroom up above (18″ to 24″) and not much floor space.

So I thought that maybe I could raise the floor to where it would be above the wheel wells in my truck box (maybe 8″ to 10″).

This would allow me to have a decent storage basement underneath and also, if I set back the front of the cabinets on one side ( they are too deep anyway) and shave off the returns on my dinette I would pretty much have me a dance floor in there.

Has anyone ever done this or even considered it before? And what came of it?
